Titchfield Art and Craft Show is another event that showcases art and craft from across the region. There is always a great variety of work on display and this always proves to be a very popular exhibition having established a reputation for high quality work. This is a great opportunity to come and meet and chat to the artists and makers with the option of buying a unique piece of art or craft.
Despite a very windy day, it was very busy at the Square Tower today and the first 'Crafts in the Tower' of the year proved a very positive start to 2013. We welcomed three new exhibitors, Hazel Taylor (textiles), Kelly Hickman (guilded art and cards) and Mei Liang (origami) as well as regular exhibitors Sharon Justice (jewellery), Di Wren (ceramics), Gary Renouf (wood turning) and Susan Meredith and Tracy Unwin (fine art). It should be an exciting year for 'Crafts in the Tower' with several new ventures being planned, including our involvement in the 'Portsmouth Festivities'. I'll keep you updated via the blog and events page as details are confirmed. If you are a local artist or designer and would like to exhibit your work at 'Crafts in the Tower' please get in touch via the Contact page.
The first 'Crafts in the Tower' of 2013 will be taking place this coming Sunday. As usual there will be a great variety of quality art and crafts and the pop-up vintage tea room will be open.
